here's a link to the motherboard specs, it says you have "One PCI Express x16 graphics" expansion slot, which means you should be able to get a new(er) video card for it....I would double check that a new one will fit, lengthwise, into the case. most newer cards are a bit long. as for which one to get? if that is indeed a pciexpress x16 slot, not a 2.0, then you will be limited on what you can get. maybe someone a little bit more knowledgeable about video cards can post suggestions...what is currently in there now?

it only has integrated graphics built into the mobo i think

my concern is that you might have limited space to put in a newer graphics card, as that's a microatx board, and prolly a small case? And you might need an extra power adapter for the new card, and your power supply might not be sufficient, so you see, there are more things here to consider...judging from the list of cards that might be compatible, your choices are somewhat limited:

and most of those are considered old, if you are doing this to maybe play some newer games. what has prompted you to look into getting a new card?

yea the case is kinda small, but lengthwise ive got at least (and im guessing) about 8 inches but might be 10 from the far side of the slot to the back of the case. im wanting to upgrade because im having lagy games and sub-par overall video quality. also just because an "older" style card has to be better than my built in graphix deal on the mobo !

so i found a tape measure and i have only 6 in. from the far end of the pci 16x slot however, if i need to make the hole in the back of the case bigger so the card might stick out the back but thats fine w/ me. also i just want to make sure i understand, you are saying that pci 16x and pci 16x 2.0 are NOT in any way compatible ?
