NOt sure what is going on but I have the most annoying delay between the click of my mouse and the action for which I clicked. I have run numerous scans for malware and also read and performed the read me first. I really don't think it is a malware problem, but the time it takes for my machine to respond is maddening. When it happens, it shows nothing processing, but it sure seems like something is taking up the resourses. I have had this problem in the past and a reinstall was the only thing that would take care of it. Please offer some suggestions and move to malware if that is where this needs to be. Thank you

If you want us to check for malware, you should post in the malware forum and attach the requested logs:

    SAS
    MBAM
    ComboFix
    C:\MGLogs.zip

I will rerun the Read me and run first, but as I stated, I ran this, and really don' tknow if this is a malware problem. I will restart thread in the malware section with the requested logs. Thank you

If you don't think it's malware, and your scans come up clean, post back here after the malware forum. Include your system specs (Windows version with service pack, CPU, RAM, hard drive size and free space remaining), and also include which real-time antivirus programs you have installed. Some of these AV programs can REALLY slow down a PC, and if you have two 'competing' programs installed, things could just get worse. Also, you should probably read and follow the steps in this thread.
Good luck! Keep us posted as to your progress!

To go along with what dlb said about AV software. I've had other software do this also. I had a HP printer that the included drivers/software brought me to a crawl. Even the 'basic' install caused this. So if the malware checks come up clean try to pin down when it started happening and see if you can remember installing something about that time.

Start easy...have you tried a different mouse just to be sure it isn't a problem with the mouse you currently use?
