Not valid win 32 application

    ok so I installed XP home on my old pII computer 400mhz...everything works just fine sxcept whenever i try to open an exe on a cd it gives me an error " blah.exe is not a valid win32 application" this only happens when i try to open it off the cd, if i open any exe off floppys or my computer, they work fine

    Help plz

    thanks but no dice...this is for win 95-me, i have xp and its different than the site you sent...any more suggestions?

    yea i tried that...it gives me an I/O hardware error, windows sais that its prolly a busted cable

    It could be anything really, you will have to go through a process of elimination using the link I supplied.

    Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer, but it's not that simple unfortunately.
