I'm trying to determine if a notebook hard drive (Fujisu MHN2200AT) is no longer working. One thing for sure it won't bring Windows up. I removed the HD from the notebook and hooked it up to a 250-IDE-KIT connector and attached it as a slave to my desktop PC. There, BIOS recognizes the drive correctly, but the desktop boots into INTEL's Setup screen. (Press F4 to continue) etc. FYI: I hooked the drive up on the same cable as the primary master. I also hooked it up by itself on the second IDE connector on the motherboard. Same result. I need some feedback as to where to go from here. Thanks --Erik :)

If not booting, that means time to get a new drive. You can get Seagates at a decent price now, especially the 60gb notebook drive.
