Notebook keyboard problem

    I have a presario cq50 notebook. Just repalced the video cable. When I put the computer back together, the keyboard does not work. Checked the connection. It is fine. When I plug in a usb keyboard and check the device manager it shows the hp keyboard is there and functioning properly. Also tried another keyboard from another compaq. That didn't work either (not sure that was a good keyboard though). Everything else works including the touchpad. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

    Never mind. Got it. Took me 6 times plugging the keyboard in. I hate zif connectors!
