Notepad++: Auto-completion Issue

Hi! I was able to get Notepad++ 3.6 to work on my Win7/64 laptop. I found it on one of my flash drives abnd copied it to the hard drive. It works, but I have one issue: how do I turn on auto-indent and auto-closing parentheses and brackets? I believe I have v. 3.6.

In the latest version (at least), you can find it through:

1. Settings (menu)
2. Preferences...
3. MISC (tab)
4. lower-left checkbox list.
5. "Auto-indent" is the 2nd option in this group.

...And this:
Just go to Settings >> Preferences >> Auto Completion and check the parentheses, brackets, and curly brackets from the list as shown in the following picture.

Not sure if they're referring to the same version you have but there should be some settings in there somewhere.
