Notepad Equivelent?

    I use notepad to keep notes, but its font is too small for old damaged eyes. Are there any other built in text programs on Win7 that has larger fonts?

    Never hurts to ask.

    The only alternative to Notepad included with Windows 7 is WordPad.
    Why don't you just increase the font size?
    Click Format > Font.

    I like Notepad ++ as a fully configurable open-source program for Windows.

    Run any Font, Size, Style etc under the settings tab > style configurator.

    Once you get familiar with the app, it will grow on you!

    Click on Format and choose Font and change the size in Notepad. notepad_size.jpg
