Notepad++ - Immediate Help Needed - How Do I Stop A Macro That's Running Rampant?

I recorded a macro to search for a string of text, jump to the end of the line it found it in, and then insert another string at the end. Next, I told NPP to run the macro until it reached the end of the file. It should have stopped!

Sadly, it's obvious from the size of the backup file continuing to grow (and opening a copy of it) that the macro is reaching the end of the file and starting again - want to place bets that Wrap is affecting it? I can tell you for fact that wrap is on, but I didn't bother turning it off, not thinking this would be an issue, but I'm fairly confident I did start at the beginning of the file, and I expected it to stop at the end of the file.

So, question - how the heck do you stop a macro without shutting down NPP via Task Manager? It's ignored me hitting cancel. (Oh, yeah... I'm on Windows - Vista Business, if that makes any difference.)

 

I ended up killing NPP via the 'not responding, do you want to...' dialogue box. It was crazy - what should have ended up as a 45kb file was approaching 5mb by the time I stopped it.

Question still stands - does anyone know how to stop a macro? Because in my experience, NPP has never responded to my hitting 'Cancel.' And that's regardless of what computer or system I run it on. The only thing that is probably in common across them all is that I'm using a portable version from portableapps.com.
