Notepad is now Narrator

Can anyone please help me with this? When I try to open notepad by going start menu>programs>accesibility>notepad, instead Narrator comes up! Where's my notepad and how do I get it back?

 

Try this but I dont know if it will work:

Start Menu --> Programs --> Accesibility --> Notepad --> Right Click and Press Properties --> Target: C:\WINDOWS\NOTEPAD.EXE

Hey thanks, controlmind, it worked! However now I can't get a notepad that I just made (as a tester) to open. When "Choose the program to open with" comes up, notepad is not on the list and I can't find it. Any suggestions?

I tried that, and nothing happens. When i browse, I find notepad, click on it, and it goes back to the "open with" dialog box. Nothing happens.

 

Hello again. Is there anyone out there who could help me to get my notepad opening with notepad again?

 

Try this Start Menu --> Run --> Type notepad.exe --> Press ENTER

Here I found a program that has Windows Notepad, You can put it on your desktop by extracting onto your desktop with winzip, winrar etc.

Windows 98/98SE
Windows ME
Windows 2000

Sort of, thanks for asking. Notepad is still giving me problems because a2 trojan scanner deleted false positives. I'm now trying to find out what and where all the notepad files are supposed to be in windows xp pro oem.
