    Hello guys,
I'm totally new on this forum, so hi to all of you! :)

There's this problem I've been fooling around with all day. Been lurking google way to much without any solve.
Then I came across this forum and thought, well let's ask!

The thing is; I'm trying to run this older game which I played a few months ago on the same laptop without any problem.
Now when I click the shortcut or the .exe in the mainfolder nothing happens. Just the cursor changes for a second to pretend it's loading before it changes back to normal again.
    Nothing is happening!

    What I've been trying:
    - All the options under the compatible tab (i.e run on windows xp)
    - Disabling firewall/antivirus & put the .exe under exceptions from antivirus
    - Put -dx9 on the end of the shortcut so it tries to run it with an older dx9
    - Had cc cleaner whipe all sort of mess on my computer
    - Downloaded this registery repair somewhere from your site and let it run
    - Reïnstalling and using the repair tool inside the main folder

Well that's all I can think of. I hope somebody is able to give me the golden tip here :) Would definately spare me some annoyance for the next couple of days.

    Anyway, thanks in advance guys/girls!

    Uninstall it and reinstall it.

I have a game I purchased that broke. Rather than going through steps to try and fix it (I emailed tech support), I found it took less time to simply uninstall and reinstall the game.

Already did twice, see my last point. Thanks for the answer though.

Which version of Windows are you using?

    This
could have removed something that was needed.
    and this
    could have caused further damage.

I very rarely clean the registry and if I feel the registry needs repairing, I do it manually and write down what I've done so I can undo my change if something appears broken.
