Empty the contents of the Temporary Internet Files folder. See if that helps.

    Open Internet Explorer
    a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    b. Click the General tab.
    c. Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files.
    d. When you are prompted to delete all temporary Internet files, click OK.

    1. Launch AOL.

    2. Click on Settings and select the Preferences option.

    3. The Preferences dialog window will appear. Click on Internet Properties (WWW).

    4. Click the Delete Files button. Click the OK button on the Delete File dialog window to confirm the deletion of your temporary internet files. Click the OK button again to close the Internet Properties dialog window.

    5. Restart your computer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the AOL browser just a shell for IE? Any settings and changes made to IE will affect the AOL browser.

    Unless of course I'm wrong.

you may have to backtrack and give some background info again?

    1. If you save a picture to your HD do you see a file or not?

    2. IF you try to open a picture file what happens?

    3. What software do you have along the lines of say MS Word, Photoshop, Paintshop Pro or other GFX software?

if you have MS Word try this for me open a new document and copy and paste the attached image into a word document.... does that work?

Sadly mind reading powers is not one of my strong points.. thats why when we are not sitting with you at your PC, we ask questions ( eg. questions 1, 2 and 3 which you didnt bother to answer? ) trying to get a feel for your problem, the more info you give the easier it is to re-create or know what the problem is...........but if you dont want help then so be it, I have much more pressing things I need to be doing today!
