Novell Password

Our school computers have a Novell Login that is set up when you turn on the computer. Each student has his/her own password all set up to a Limited Account. Once or twice during the year I have had to stop my work on my computer because of a software restriction and go to the "Help Desk" (in other words a bunch of dim wits who don't know what they are doing) and they would allow me to open that program. The only thing is everytime i would want to open that program, because of the restrictions on my account, i have to go down the the "Help Desk".

Is there any way I can bypass that login and go straight to the desktop?

Sadly we will not assist you in bypassing restrictions that your school/colledge/university has setup, if the admins require you to go via the Help Desk to enable an application then you will have to do this, unless you can state a good case for having the application/s added to your account as enabled by default.

I know how frustrating it is when on your home PC you can do what you wish, but sadly and its the same where I work, all users ( apart from admins and trusted users ) have limited accounts, this is a security measure to protect the network. When you leave school and enter business if you try and bypass security it is a sackable offence in many companies.
