Nrton Antivirus not letting me share printer

I recently installed Norton Antivirus on my computer, however since I installed it I can no longer share the printer with my kids computers. Symantec's help desk keeps disconnecting. I am running a windows computer with Windows XP. Many thanks

 

How about uninstalling Norton Antivirus and going with a better free solution

Thanks for the advise but I would rather keep Norton Antivirus for right now, that might change. I would only do that as a last resort.

 

The anti virus solution shouldn't prevent you from "seeing" other computers on your network. Had you installed Symantec Internet Security? If so, it contains a firewall and it is very common to set up the firewall portion of the package to lockout your view of the network.
