NTFS Compressed??

Iv'e looked through a bunch of current threads, and I am still unsure any are the same as the problem I have currently.

2 Days ago I decided it was time to reformat my Comp. It has been about 9 Months since I last wiped it and it had begun to really upset me at how some of the programs were running and the game I had been playing for so long had started to throw me off randomly.

I used the Windows disk that came with my comupter (XP) and up Came Pc Angel, I selected the option to delete everything and went ahead and let it run. When I came back from doing a run to the store, I find a box saying to take out the disk and click to restart. I did and about 3/4 of the way through the loading process I get a message stating that the NTFS file is compressed.
press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. So I did, and no matter how many times I restart I cannot access anything but that screen.

Ive run it twice again and looked through the Bios and such. But to no avail, I heard of a command that might be able to fix it, but I do not know the correct method to get to dos or whatever command program I need to imput to make the file uncompressed.

Can someone please help me?

What is Pc Angel?
When you say "I've run it twice" what is "it"?
What kind of a computer do you have?
Is your Windows disk a full Microsoft version or is it a vendor "restore" disk?
