Hi Everyone (watch out Im a newbie here lol so sorry if i dont make sense)

I just got a new laptop and the hard drive has been partition and one drive use file system FAT32 and the other NTFS. This may have happened becoz i accidently hit the NTFS converter on the desktop when i was installing something. And then cancelled it half way through its thing!! Will I be able to run it again and convert both drives to NTFS??? And will I lose files?

Is NTFS a better file system than FAT32 for WinXP? I have done a little look round on google and ppl seem to say it works really well with WinXP, but i would like to get someone else's opinion.

    Any help is apreciated :)

Cheers for any help Guys and Gals

if the drive is partitioned and one is NTFS and the other is FAT32 then you shoud be ok to convert.

NTFS is a much better file system than FAT32

If I use the Converter that comes with WINXP will I lose any data on that drive?? Coz that drive is holding all of my operating system and files??
