ntldr is missing

    i an doing a fresh install on a neo2 series motherboard with a p4 3.2ghz. and I'm installing a western digital sata drive. well when i turn it on i get a message saying "NTLDR is missing" . I'm stumped, is the hard drive bad?

    That's normal you have that error then.....

    If you want to install a O.S on your harddisk boot from the cd then fallow the procedure...

    You will need the SATA drivers on a floppy disk to install Windows XP. When the first blue install screen appears, you'll see at the bottom it says "Press F6 to install a third party SCSI/RAID driver..." and you'll press F6. Follow the on-screen prompts until it tells you to insert the floppy disk....
