Ntldr

Hello people at majorgeeks

I recently tried to boot up my pc and got the NTLDR missing press ctrl alt delete message. I think i know what happened, was using my system when i accidently dragged a seemingly inert program called NTLDR into another folder once switched off and back on again that msg came up

I have read your instructions to fix this problem however i do not have the windows XP CDROM.

Do you know of anyother way i can reboot my system?

I have a harddrive from another computer to hand, would i be able to hook it up to my pc and boot from that?

Since you have a working Windows machine download the fix for:
Floppy: fixntldr.exe | CD-R: fixntldriso.zip | USB: ntldrusb.zip onto the working computer.

Note: Read more about how to use those "fixes" here under the title "If you got this on Windows XP."​

hi cheers for the reply i will try it asap, tho i am not as tech savy as you legends here at major geeks so it may take a while so dont take offence if i dont reply quickly.
