NvCPlDaemon and NVMediaCenter

Okay geeks Do either of these NVIDIA items need to be on my startup menu? I'm not a gamer (Blasphemy, I know. So beat me already ) but I do like the pretty colors NV makes. Back to my question: Would kicking either of these off my startup menu interfere with NVIDIA?

I personally disable both of these, as all the options are available from your desktop properties anyway, and see no need to have them sitting in my taskbar taking up resources
Ive never experienced any ill effects from doing this myself, but thats just my opinion for what its worth
