Sorry if I offended anyone because of my comment about NVida. My opinion still stands. Anyone can disagree but what is the solution. Check out all the problems end users are having at Nvida forums http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?act=idx

I'm not sure what the discussion was about, but you can go to any product specific forum for any manufacturer and find tons and tons of complaints. That's why the people are there. That's not necessarily a good representation of the MAJORITY of owners.

In my opinion and experience, nVidia drivers work well. Never had a problem with drivers or products.
I spend a lot of time in the driver forum here and rarely see any posts for help because of their drivers.

Now if you want to sue Realtek, I think you would have better luck. No support, near impossible reinstalls, complicated fixes, and just plain old old fashioned PITA problems.

Thread was sent on this topic of nVidia to forum administration for review as all software has issues and well fact of using a PC sadly, rants on software are fine but rarely do they achieve anything and we do tend here to stick to just the tech questions on how to fix these issues.

I had issues with drivers from nVidia in the beta days of Windows Vista ( again another software application with bones of contention from some ) but slowly nVidia have ironed out their issues so that I have no problems with their drivers, but fact is not all issues with drivers are the fault of the maker, but conflictions with other softwares, poor setup and users tweaking ( also Overclocking ) the drivers or OS without knowing the concequences.

Not going personally looking through all the post on nVidia's forum for issues as dont have the time and we rarely get many questions on nVidia issues.... mostly as stated soundcard or users wishing to go from Vista to XP and finding there are no compatible drivers from their OEM PC maker.

If software was perfect forums like this wouldnt exist and I would have a very relaxing quiet life :)
