Nvidia 5900XT

Hello I am having a problem and needs to be fixed soon. I play a game called Counter-Strike and I have a 5900XT and it doesnt have a number for constant fps the fps keeps moving that I cant even tell what it is... Its like half a second it will change...

Specs:
2.8 GHZ Intel Pentium 4 w/HT
80 GB
1024 RAM
5900XT
---

My old computer with similar specs but 512 ram and 2.5 had a mx420 video card and had gotten 100 fps constant I dont know what the problem is..

Can anyone help me out with some driver tips I think that solve the problem if its not the drivers what is it?

when your in a counterstrike gaem on a server, go to the console and type "cl_updaterate 101". that should fix the problem ( dont include the quotation marks though).

 

My rates are:

cl_cmdrate 101
cl_updaterate 101
rate 25000


It did not fix the problem. Im pretty sure its my drivers or im just not checking the right things in the driver settings... PLEASE HELP

 

fps_max 100 ? www.nvidia.com for new driversalso be sure to update mobo drivers sound card drivers etc etc...

funny -> "I play a game called Counter-Strike" Like its some obscure little game

 

The game is like 4 years or more old some people are new to this
