I guess my new pc came with this annoyance, but I can't find where to access it anywhere! My Network Magic says it's there, and wants me to configure it, but I can't find a control panel for the thing! It's not in Add/Remove Software or in the programs list. Task manager doesn't show it either.

In an issue that may or may not be related, I was suddenly unable to watch streaming video or access random websites. I turned off the XP firewall and everything works again. I never had problems with the XP firewall before.

I may be a control freak, but I want to be able to configure this thing or get rid of it!

Ya, I never liked nVidia's firewall either. I believe if you grab your chipset's drivers from the ASUS site and reinstall, you'll then have the option of not installing the FW. I have an older mobo, A8N-E, maybe that method will work for you too. Wait for some confirmation as I don't have the latest hardware. Might be a good idea to post your system specs.
