nvidia / ATI chart

Hello guys,
i have always stuck with Nvidia since the 2 series came out. But i am getting a new computer soon and i know that Ati cards are just as good as Nvidia but i don't have a clue what the names are. Eg: Nvidia geforce 4 was the first of its kind played, when is first came out on pc halo. and the Geforce 6800 can play battlefield 2 on high etc.

So is there anyone out there with a Nvidia Ati comparison chart just so i know where i stand. Eg: Nvidia geforce 8600 is the ati 1900 xxxx blob edition.

Thanks guys that wil do perfect. But i have used Nvidia for ages and ages so i think that i will stick with them.
