I recently upgraded from a 9800 Pro to a 6800 GT videocard. There are 2 monitors connected to it, a 19" TFT and a 19" CRT. I use an extended desktop spanning both screens to work in Painter and Photoshop.

But I like to play games, well mostly racesims actually, every once in a while as well. With the Radeon, I could just start a game and it would display on the primary monitor, the other monitor would still display the windows desktop. Pretty handy if you want to keep an eye on MSN or your systems temperatures.

Now, is this possible with an nVidia card too? I've gone through the settings several times and haven't got it to work. I've also searched several tech-forums for an answer but couldn't find a clear one.

If it doesn't work, what would be the most practical option? In Horizontal Span mode, I only get 8:3 resolutions. In Dual View mode I can only select 800x600, which leads to the game crashing for some reason. I've installed the latest WHQL drivers BTW.
