nvidia evga geforce gt-610 sound through hdmi

    hi,

    my graphics card has a hdmi port on but i cannot work out how to get sound through my tv to work?

    any help?

    I'm using Windows 7, so I can't vouch for other OS but it should be similar. I can right click on the volume icon in my system tray and select 'Playback Devices' from the menu. I can then click to highlight the output I wish to use and click the 'Set Default' button the bottom to select it.
