Nvidia Geforce FX 5200

Hey i got a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 and its not workin for me, everytime i start one of my games it turns red and the text looks foggy, maybe its cuzz the games are old , i dont know i have updated too from Nvidia......this happens, it works fine when i try to play after i reboot and on windows it works great, no probs http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/hemen/nam-2.jpg

You're a little confusing there. You said it works fine after a reset and on windows. So am I to assume you are running a linux version then?

If so then, so more information about the OS could help. Not that I could help much anyways, but with linux you're stuck in opengl where as windows you're using directX. So this can have a pretty big impact. Have you tried updating opengl as well as the drivers?

Which drivers are you using?
The MS drivers are recommended if you are running XP.
Do you leave the PC on?
My card failed while still under warranty and they resolved the problem by replacing the on-board RAM and installing a humongous heat sink.
