Hi pls help, I posted this in the game section with no help, and I really need some help. The problem started while my son and I were playing games online. Computer would give a no signal error & then a error code (below)

    error code 1000000d1,parameter1 01c49230, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 f7b6109e.

Cut a long story short I followed all advice on the forum that I felt related to my problem. Finally I reformatted and reloaded all programs, driver ect. Have experimented with nivadia drivers and used driver cleaner I have reseated the graphics card and run ad-aware, Trojan remover, spybot and nortons.

. Comp went fine for a week and at least 2 times a day the computer stopsand gives a no signal message & there is no error report, have to turn power of to get it to start again. This can happen playing games running antivirus etc. Any help would be great as I am at a loss and the warranty on the system is about to run out. Store wont except any responsibility unless I can prove it is a hardware problem. My guess is that the graphics card is on the way out. Pls help as I have run out of ideas.

    Thanks in advance.

do you know what resolution you have the monitor at and the hertz setting at try lowering them. Right click on desktop choose properties then settings then advanced. Look for the tab that says adapter choose it and see if it says all modes choose that and pick a lower value.

is the adapter setting the same as screen resolution. And if so what does this prove.

some monitors can not handle too high a setting and somtimes give a no signal error or out of range error

I previously set all display settings at there lowest and the computer still froze. To add to my problems I can not even get comp to start now, so cant run memtest. I get a no signal message and cannot start it in safe mode ever. On one attempt to start it I got the repeated beeps of no memory, turned of then on and got no signal message. I originally reformatted and it ran fine for a week or so and then went stuffed. I have done a system restore to a point when all things were fine and I still get a no signal message even no it was running fine before. I have no virus mal ware ect. I am at a total loss, what should I do next. I don’t have the means to test the graphics card. PLEASE HELP.
Apologies about the delay in replying, I work very long hours.

pick up the computer grab hold of their throat and throw it at their face, let them prove its a hardware problem,DONT be afraid,to me it points to a memory prob,Your the consumer they didn't do you any favours, they arn't your friends,F$^k them make them help you,I have researched the prob you have had,and I can't find a solution. :(

Just to let every one know. I followed Rikky's advice and I now have a whole new computer with a better graphics card. The store couldn't work out what was wrong, so they changed the lot. All it took was a heated discusion with the store manager and some advice from Rikky. Thanks Rikky.

Thanx M8,you flexed your rights and of course you won,I'm sick of seeing manufacturers say, prove its a software problem.

WHAT?,even if it is a software problem they sold you windows,The MOST important thing on a comp that has to work.

The way I see it you buy a computer to compute, when it stops computing, you should get a refund or replacement or they should find a better operating system"make microsoft make one that works"

Good luck M8 if it screws up again think like this, the guys in the store don't think "Its that guy again who can't use a computer"

They think " Dam it,one of our computer's has screwed up again, what are we gonna do? "

    :)
