Nvidia geforce2 mx-400 problems (please help)

hey guys,

i'm having a small problem. its' a color issue. the colors on my computer are messed up. i thought it was my monitor but it's not. my monitor is fine as i used it on my roommates computer.

my computer shows different colors when i'm browsing the internet as well as when looking at pictures offline. for instance, my website has a grey backround. however, on my computer it's purple. another example: when i view pictures, the pictures are really dark. i'm thinking it's the video card but i just updated the drivers. does anyone have any advice?
