Nvidia Geforce2 mx400 problem

    I've just remove my Nvidia model 64 TNT2 Pro and Put in my Nvidia Geforce2 mx400 in the Agp Slot. There were no problem for the last 1 week when im using the card. But yesterday it gave me problem wehn i was play BF1942 and it hangs in the middle of the game. and when i try to restarted My comp It freezes when it is showing the os logo.. But my comp is still active b/c i can see the red light flashing and hearing the window sound when the windows is loading and im now using my old Graphic card.... I need Help ASAP!!!

    Pentium 4 1.6Ghz
    40gb HD
    256mb Memmory

    Did you reinstall your Nvidia drivers when you switched to the newer card?

    yea

    Ive install the new drivers for the new card from the cd.im still usign the drivers now.

    are you using beta drivers? if the drivers arent WQHL cert their is a chance they wont work properly

    get newest drivers @ nvidia.com

    when installing drivers be sure to remove the old ones b4 you install the newer ones since they might cause problems

    I dont know where to find the non-beta drivers for nvidia vid cards.i alrdy searh at nvidia.com. Can u send me a link to the page. thx!

    You didn't specify what operating system, so I'll let you pick your own.

    Best way to uninstall/reinstall nVidia drivers is to first switch to standard graphic driver, to free up the nVidia drivers (can't uninstall a driver that's being used), then remove it from Add/Remove Programs, then reboot and install your new one. That should work fine.
