I'd like people to post there options and comments to my comments

GTX 295 is scoring higher benches then the GTX 480. Maybe it's due to the GTX 295 being a dual gpu card?

The GTX 295 and the GTX 480 have the same amount of cuda cores

However I'm wondering if they are going to release a dual gpu card like a GTX 495

It seems like from a GTX 295 to a GTX 480 is going to be more of a downgrade then a upgrade for pc games at the moment.

GTX 480 has only more 10.7 more FPS then the GTX 285! :eek

There is probly more benches but there are just two

Also the specs are slower

New drivers will prob help the benchmark scores.

 

I have been following the reports on this new card with the intention of buying one but the more i read the less enthusiastic i become.

It is not only close to a GTX 295 but it has a heat problem so a good cooling system is needed.

As i delve deeper i am torn between buying another GTX295 (i fried my last one and it was my fault) which i believe is the better card or buying buying a GTX260 and sli it with the 260 i now have in the rig.

My personal opinion is that Nvidia have dropped a brick with this new card.

I'm saying this is the best nvida could do?

I wonder how much better cuda is on this card compared to a G200 card.

 

As you probably read in the other thread, i too am extremely dissapointed with this new GPU from Nvidia!
