Downloaded 'O&O AppBuster 1.0.1339' from MG and all can find is 'OOAPB.exe' (along with OOAPB.ini) on the 'Desktop' (where all browser downloads are directed).
Thought it was the 'installer' file, but it appears to be the 'run' file.
Therefore am assuming there are no other 'OOAPB' files in places like 'C:\Program Files' etc.
    Is that the case ?
Anything else worth knowing about the program installation & operation (other than the MG 'download discussion' info) ?
Is it safe, and/or might there be a better program for removing unwanted (that may not uninstall via W10 'Settings') W10 apps ?
    Thanks!

    It doesn't install - it's portable.
Right-click OOAPB.exe and click Run as administrator.

Thank you for the info and terminology update ('portable') !
Not easy for us old guys to keep up these days :)
So am assuming the only OOAPB files on the PC (desktop, or wherever we put them) will be 'OOAPB.exe' and 'OOAPB.ini) ?

The .ini file will "remember" any changes you make within O&O AppBuster so it looks the same and any adjusted settings are the same each time you open it . If you plan on keeping it then make a folder named O&O AppBuster and keep both files in it. If not then just delete both files once you are done and it is gone.

I keep a folder in my main user profile called 'Tools" for any portable software I use.

Thanks for the info and suggestions !
Will put in folder and 'pin' to the W10 Start menu.
It is a little weird when it 'starts' and indicates it is 'Installing' vs 'Opening', but dont remember ever using a 'portable' program.
And is does sound like its a decent program.
    Will see.

There are various programs that do the same thing but o&o is a company I have trusted for a long time so I'm sure it will be as good as or better than the others.

Portable software works fine on computers but the main advantage is you can put them on a flash drive or any portable drive and run it straight from the flash drive without needing to install it first. Just plug the flash drive into any computer and you have everything you need to be productive or troubleshoot.

Here is a handy little app which is portable itself. Drop it and its .ini in your portables folder and then use it for easy access to folders or applications, including portables or any others:

Amusing to me that it is from the same developer who wrote Binisoft Windows Firewall Control (now Malwarebytes firewall). He followed BFC with this tiny gem which requires only 192k disk space. This app is the simple truth of a launcher, and the tiny launcher icon stays above everything without intruding on work:

    Nice simple settings:
