Oblivion levelling system

Ok I'v just started playing and the game is awsome,I'v had a great time just in the sewers and them when I came out I was blown away by the visuals,but I'v decided not to go any further without tweaking the game as much as possible for video and gameplay

One problem with game from what I read is the levelling system the character get tougher as you get tougher,I'm not sure how this effects gameplay I read in alot of places it stupidly makes smaller bad guys into killing machines towards level 50 and also takes away the level of acomplishment from making your character more powerfull

There is a way around this by installing a mod that limits the power of some of the bad guys which shouldnt effect the more powerfull ones who should be powerfull and making the game overly easy they also make a few other levelling tweaks ,so far I'v got this one which seems to make sense

I'm not gonna play the game any further than the first exit of the sewers until I decide what do to about the levelling system,MOD or LEAVE stock? any thoughts are welcome,please though only from people who have had first hand experience playing oblivion and the levelling system and know the pros and cons

I really don't mind the leveling system, although it is a bit lame when you start meeting level 50 goblins or Sprigs, and you know your character is waay beyond them.

I've seen the TES: oblivion Mod page as well as the links to the other TES: oblivion sites.......pretty cool stuff, but...wouldnt you rather play the Original game then Mod it later?

Just try the game out stock and see how you feel at mid-range levels, if your displeased just add your mod. I'm going to add a level mod or two when I beat the game for the third time( the first 2 times I only actually completed half the game quests...and now Im joining all the guilds and entering in every cave )

Thats the problem once I get halfway through and then add the mod I'll have to start the game all over again as save games arnt compatible with this mod and most others I have seen

tell you what wavy you install the mod play the game all the way through AGAIN! and tell me if its better than the original

p.s Iv never played a game through twice ever and I dont think I'll start now

thanks viper I installed this patch before I even started the game up it doesnt address any of the levelling issues,just quest fixes

 

OK I'v already started playing the game without any mods,I aint doin the 6 hours all over again so I'll have to live with the levelling system
