I have a couple of pics back there about some really obnoxious groundhogs who were very peeved off at being caught in a cage for a stupid piece of carrot! :-DDarn things made holes all over the place!:mad

Groundhogs destroyed my garden, not to mention the made a tunnel that went all the way across the back of my yard. We had a family of them so one by one we trapped them and let them loose miles away from us. Since then we have not had one in our yard, but what we did get was a momma kitty and 3 babies that started to use the tunnel for shelter. Now I have 2 semi feral cats that are indoors and loving life!!

    That was funny Evil.
We have a gofer working it's way down the street via lawns.

I should have filmed Dan, that's funny too. LOL Sticking things in the hole, I would chuckle to myself.

I think as it moves from one residence to another everyone deals with it in their own way.
One neighbor clubbed one with a brick. :crybaby That would NOT have happened at my place, trust me.
I threatened Dan in Santa Cruz when he was going to poison a rat to turn him in. They don't go for that in Santa Cruz either. :-D

A snap trap is the most humane as some rats will die from poison but the offspring of the others that don't don't die will not bleed out, same as bacteria etc. One needs foxes, snakes or coyotes to keep the population down but that ain't happening either eh? We killed the balance.
