ocz 800w elite ps

I have had this pc since well, offiically built in May, however, I purchased the part over time since January.

The pc was good until, yesterday. I turned the computer on and was running it fine. I walked away, like I usually do, and I thought it was in hibernation so i wasnt alarmed when the monitors were completely black.. However, the front of the pc wasnt flashing it was completely black. So I thought, oh maybe the power got turned off and so the pc reset itself and just remained off.

My ps has it's own switch seperate from the pc, and it was on. The MB has indicator leds that were all still on, so I just pressed the ps power off and then after a bit back on. the PC mb's lights came on as usual, however when I pressed the cases button on the front to boot up the pc, I heard the power trying to start up like that "fpzt" sound, and the lights on the front of the pc came on for a brief second and then off again. No boot.

Is it the PS that's less than 6 months old?

 

I would say more likely motherboard. Check your cables and detach and re attach them then try again. I it is still a problem post back.
