This is not a problem, I got everything working, but I was wondering if anyone knew what was happening. I updated my BIOS, restarted the computer, and got an error loading OS.

I use 3 hard drives, SATA0 (main drive) SATA1 (storage) IDE1 (storage). I have WinXP on the SATA0 drive (C:). I figure the computer was trying to boot from the IDE drive. I unplugged the IDE drive and it booted into windows, no problem. I shut it down, plugged up the IDE drive and it booted just fine. I am back up the way I was before the BIOS upgrade. This was only a BIOS upgrade, no hardware changes.

Just curious about it, like I said, all is working now.
System: AMD 3700 San Diego, DFI LP NF4 Ultra-D, 2xSeagate SATA drives not in RAID, WD IDE drive.650Watt OCZ PSU, 2x512 OCZ 3500 ram.

Not sure why a smiley face showed up after C...

    You got a smiley because you wrote (C, with a : and a ) following it. The : and the ) make a :)

Sometimes I just get the urge to post an answer to something even if it's not important LOL
