Odd new ISSUE(S) in Chrome

    Among another odd occurrence (or three) in this Google Chrome Browser as of late, I am having a problem in/with Bookmarks (known as "Favorites" to IE users) when attempting Right-Click>"Open in New Tab".

    The new tab opens as an "about:blank" page, and also then treats the tab as if it were a "download" (seen along bottom of screenshot here, above the Taskbar).

    Anyone have a clue as to why this might be occurring suddenly?

    Hi Glenn

    I would export your bookmarks and then uninstall Chrome and re-install then import your bookmarks back.

    Info HERE on export/import.

    If you use addons with Chrome, remove them all to test also.

    Hi David and thanks...yes, I'm guessing it could well be the dreaded add-ons, though I only have a few in Chrome (5 or 6) of which I believe about half are disabled, but I will do as per your instructions...thank you!
