Odd One For You!?!!? Any IDEAS! lol

Hey all!

Right, New computer built by me using an ASUS M2V AM2 Socket Motherboard.

Built the computer all running fine.

Person had it took it back home plugged his Belkin Router into the LAN connection and what its doing is its saying connected then disconnected all the time.

Looking at the 1234 lights on the front of the router of course which ever port its in say 1 for example then the light will give a slow flash. As if i was plugging it in and out... even does that with the lights for the onboard LAN connection on the motherboard.

Now i have tried it in Safe Mode... the same.
Lastest drivers for the LAN from the ASUS site... the same.
5 Different Network Cables... the same.
Plugged the computer into my shop network computer is perfectly fine!
Plug his router into another machine using a eithernet cable.. perfectly fine!
both togeither not a chance!
BUT if you plug a USB to Eithernet Converter into the machine and then use it that way it works fine!!

Any ideas of what this could be?

Just intrested mainly if anyone would have had a idea to what it could be.

I have installed a PCI Network Card in there now and that works fine. But with that onboard ASUS Connection theres no chance...

To be honest i have just put that PCI Eithernet card in and called it day!

LAN connection works 100% fine on anything else. JUST with that router haha.

Never mind! Who knows!
