ODD Problem

Good Morning everybody, though, not so good for me. I am having a little situation with my ODD. When trying to play a DVD it either does not load and the light keeps blinking or it loads but the audio and video lags. I am using a Black Samsung TS-H552U Dual-Layer DVD Writer/Rom. The two programs I have for the speed settings of the drive are Samsung's "Magic Speed" and Nero's "Drivespeed".

Any idea's on what the problem can be?, I am all out.

If you have the cd's for your dvd programs, why dont you start from scratch, uninstall all your dvd software, install just your player software and see if you can watch the dvd's with no problems, then install the burning program and see if it works ok, i think you are having a conflict with the programs you are using, try to narrow it down. ed
