I have recently cleaned out my deleted email file after a Spam attack, I now realise I need a particular email that shouldn't have been deleted.

I use Symantec SystemWorks so have done a search of the Protected waste bin and a general search of the HDD using the search function - No joy there.

Will a general search of the HDD also search the Protected waste bin?

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I believe the Protected waste bin will only help for files that would normally have gone to the Recycle Bin. OE messages do not normally go to the Recycle Bin and installing Norton doesn't change that, does it? Have you ever seen OE messages in the Recycle Bin/Protected waste bin?
