After looking at my add remove programs I notice that several version of Office 2000 were installed? 2 premiums, and a professional version.

Well, I deleted the 2 premiums and the professional would not uninstall.

Since then, I have installed a Office 2000 premium and have noticed this new error:

As I try to open a document in a word program, and go to the open icon I receive this error:

"This feature is not available. To make this feature available, please run Setup again. Select "add/remove features", and change the feature to Run from my computer, or run from CD/Network.

    Any suggestions??????????????

when you tryed to remove office pro make sure everything is closed as usally that happens if you try to remove a program that has something depending on it running at the sametime i would uninstall it completetly and start again i think whats happening now is when you reinstalled it ,it checked to see what files you allready had on your pc (office2000) and just installed the files that you were missing and somehow some were missed and now it is saying to open that documnent you will have to put your office2000 disk in the drive so it can find the right files to open it .

I was thinking of doing another clean uninstall. Thanks for the reply.
