Office 2003 woes

Howdy all.

Need a little help with installs of Office 2k3 SB...1st off when I try and use office update it goes thur the motions but when it's ready to install I get unsuccesful installation. Dont know why.....not a network thing since I can get windows updates and it's not my AV for I disable that. These have been activated and I still get the please read and accept terms window comes up every time one opens outlook, word, heck just office in general.

assuming you're not logged on with admin rights.

Log off and log into the machine with admin privileges and load up an office app. Accept the EULA and that should take care of that. Next, you cannot install any updates wether it be office or windows updates unless you are logged in with admin rights.. so follow the first part of this paragraph for that as well.

 

Thank you my captain. One other thing if adobe acrobat 5.0 is installed and you try and run a office app I get a error message say to either cancel, continue or disable for the session. is there a patch for this?? or a work around??

Adobe is on version 6. Try updating to it and see what happens.
