I have Office 2003 and just bought a new computer. Am I going to have a problem loading the program as it is a "one time" installation? Is there a way to get around this? Thanks

How do you mean "one time" installation?

    A. Is it a bought package that you only have one go at installing and would need to purchase it again to install if things go wrong? Not heard of this but no doubt some OEM PCs may come with a "one time" shot install, but its likely to be part of the recovery CD.

    B. ( and the one I think is the Scenario )You have the Office 2003 Retail CD and its already installed on 1 PC aready? if this scenario then unless you have a Student or Volume Enterprise version then your limited to installing it on 1 PC only as per the EULA. So you'd have to buy a new version to install on this new PC.

Sorry to hand out bad news :(

But you can or could install OpenOffice.org For Windows 2.1.0 while its not MS Office, it has the majority if not all the functionality of MS Office and will save and open files from Office fine.... the best part is its FREE.

Just a thought adn suggestion :)
