I know I am missing something so I need some assistance, please. I have Windows 7 with Office 2007. When I open my directories there are 4: Documents, Music, Pictures and Video. I tried to open a file in Documents and I saw the same document in the other Directories and also listed under my Computer OS (C). Why are my files appearing in all the directories? Please advise me.

    Obliged,

Are these files identical (size, date, content, etc.)?

If you modify the contents of the one in Documents, do the others also change?

I didn't pay attention to that because I just notice how cluttered the files were getting with the same files. Just now I noticed that the Document directory now has a sub directory "documents." The document I just save yesterday appears in two directories. One in Library\Documents(the icon is what looks like a sheet of paper, the sub directory looks like a file folder) There is a music directory with a sub directory of Music also. Looks like one mess. Confusing for me. Please advise.
