office networking

I have 4 comp's networked together, the host has no problems. Two comp's are using the host quick books program for logging information. Every so often, the program says the quick books "host" is not available and will boot them off in the middle of their work, and cause all of the work that was being logged in to be lost, then shut down the program. We then have to start over and hope it doesn't happen again. We do not have a network admin, I'm the admin, but I'm not that savy with networking.....Is there any help for this problem?

That was no help to the problem.....certain personell to cheap to pay for aids.
