Shall we start the rant about how high gas is now or should we wait until you buy one?

 

looks like any other SUV now.. blah.. they just lost their distinction among the others.

 

no sir I dont like it. If I had 55 Grand you bet I would be buying a sports car, I could save some money and get a Durango like I have now (not the new style man those r ugly) and get a sports car, yeah for that price I could get a SUV and a Mustang GT. Ive been in one and they dont offer anything I need in my day to day life. and I cant imagine anything getting less MPG than my 5.9L in my Durango, Im probably responsible for alot of pollution in the gas I waste showing them F-150's who's faster

Then again im Sure a single Nascar race does more than I do in 5 years.

 

Just a suburban with a different shell mounted on top. They're all over near me. Too bad none ever make it off the pavement let alone any real off roading.

Yes when you Live Up North SUV's are a grea tthing to have, 4X4 really helps when theres 3 foot of snow on the road and you cant tell where the Curb is, I hate driving cars ever since I got this thing. Its also fun the the parking lot to leave it in rear wheel and do some donuts

 

Was talking about the last model.

Its sad here. 99% of suv owners consider off road a gravel driveway, and they'll stay home at the slightest chance of snow.

 

Dam they keep getting uglier and uglier.

 

My wifes tahoe is only 2wd and I take it all over the place

I am still holding out for a 2500HD 4x4 extended cab. Gotta get thru this kitchen remodel first lol.

I love when it snows, theres a big field across the street, lots of fun. Till they started building houses, now I gota watch out for equipment, they built about 5 and its been sitting there for the past year, some big 400,000 homes. Its fun as hell to take a corner really fast in 4x4 and make the whole thing slide sideways with snow flying everywhere. My work car ford taurus cant even driver over there lol.


Good in city to, went to a drive through and decided we didnt want it and it was all curbed off. Just drive on over instead of having to wait for the 5 cars in front of me.

 

dude you could get a better car like a sports car though. like for that money you could get a nice Porshe Boxster.

But a Boxter is useless when there's over a foot of unplowed snow on the road. 4WD and high ground clearance has a purpose in some parts of the country, whether you get off-road or not.

yeah i bet it does get lots of compliments. its a sweet ride. i am guessing the amp only runs to the 10's? how do those speakers sound? if you run an amp to em they would sound alot clearer, but thats just personal prefrence of having the amp. sweet ride.

A stock Jeep, no tires or lift? Hardly a swamp thing....

I have a Gr Ch, so you've got me beat power/weight right now, but am planning on making a few mods soon.

 

Not dissing, just friendly digs. No need to get all sensitive.


At least the jeep is wearing a fresh coat of mud. There's nothing sorrier that a 4wd you can see your reflection in.

 

Thanks MA PS its far from stock,,see fender flares,,,thats because the tires cant fit in the body , I don't want a lift want it stable for daily drive,,,,,Besides the 4.0 is plenty peppy,,concidering the toy is only 2500 lbs LOL here is another angle or 2,,,Enjoy,,,PS this is no pissing war,,,just show and tell !!!

 

The problem with the Gr Ch is that its all plastic. Things have a tendancy to snap off. I found that out the hard way. Its still a good truck tho.

The 4.0 was the best thing Jeep did for that truck. I remember when they came out. It made the truck wicked fast for its size.
