oh! oh! mac to pc

my brother sent me an e-mail with some jpeg pics he took and he uses mac and I use pc. I can't open them and get something about an unrecognized tag marker being the culprit. Any software I can download to open it?
P.S. If there's anything I can do to further the idea that the internet should be FREE -as in not bound by corporate financial viability, I'll do it. there is an unconcievable amount of knowledge out here and the unrestricted exchange of it should be the norm. Nes't pa?

 

perfect. even before I have it figured out I could view my brother's pics. that program does a lot! I'll sit down and figure all that out later. Thanks.
