Ok - Can Anyone Please Possibly Tell Me ...???

...where - EXACTLY - this Vista w/IE7 is downloading my programs?? They are NOT on my desktop (nor anywhere else that I can ascertain). I now have at least two - perhaps three - new programs swimmin' or floatin' around - somewhere (???) - on this PC.

Find a file you have downloaded

When you use Internet Explorer to download a file from the Internet, you are asked where you want to store the file. If you don't specify where you want the file to be stored, programs, documents, and webpages are saved in the Documents folder, and pictures are saved in the Pictures folder.
To find a file you have downloaded

• Click the Start button and then click either Documents or Pictures.
