OK, Got My PC Back Up.....

But now I cannot do any windows updates. I cannot copy and paste the message but here is the gist:

ADMINISTRATORS ONLY

To install items from Windows Update, you must be logged as admin. or member of an admin. group.

It is also saying something about network policy settings may be preventing me....blah blah blah.

I am the only user on this PC....set name to default...so there is no admin. Never had this problem before.

Also, trying to update DirectX and when I go to install it informs me that I am missing a cabinet file. Tried several times to no avail.

I am running Windows 98 with 192MB of RAM, 12GB HD.
