And I will lose my apartment at the end of this month. Dont know how much longer I will have use of the internet because I will lose my phone, utilities, soon and I have DSL. Anyway except for a developing ulser I have good health. I suppose that is something to be happy about. I guess I am just here to vent my frustrations but anyone that can cheer me up is more than welcome to do so... :(

Actually I had to quit...It was the worst job I ever had in a hot factory around dangerious chemicals and I did it for a year then I could not take it anymore...Let me put it this way...Not only was it hot but I had to on a regular basis lift up to 130 pounds loading barrels in a plating factory...I hated this job more than any other I have ever had and hope to hell I never have to go back. I did leave on good terms though...So they will give me a good reference..But now I have no job, and just lost my girlfriend do to a argument that was surely stress induced...Anyway...Life sucks pretty bad right now...jobs in this area are scarce as hell..

Well, the end isnt actually near my friend, cheer up! your life has just started, quitting your job and loosing your girlfriend is actually a blessing in disguise, depending on which way you look at it, you could have a new job tommorow, ever consider prostitution?

Surely you have sheep there that give good tips? I hear they love cliffs, they vent better their!! :D

Hehe, Just kidding though! that's pretty bad, loosing your income and your love, personally, I wouldnt give a rats but about my job, over my love anyway... that isnt completely lost is it? maybe its just a cooling off breakup, until the tension settles? I dunno, I wasnt there to see the fight, no one ever invites me... :(

But seriously, is it over/over, between you and your girlfriend? completely?

If so, I am truly sorry... I dont even want to imagine what that would feel like..

Any plans on what to do at the end of the month? I've had a few spectacularly lousy ones myself over the years, but never jumped until I was sure I had somewhere to land.

If you and the girl truly cared you can work it out.
Give it a little time to cool off then see if you can talk it out.
If you can't then maybe your better off.
Good luck how ever you go.

    Sounds like country/western song.
    New job?
    Country singer?
Nothing happened to your dog I hope.

    Keep your Chin up!
Once you hit bottom, you can only go up!

It's tuff world out there, Ive had some ruff times, most things have a way of working out.
I remember once a long time ago I had three girl friends till the each found out about each other, then I had none.

I am so sorry for the situation you find yourself in. I trust you will be pleasantly surprised by a job opportunity that comes your way soon that you didn't expect at all -- if that happens -- come and tell us about it.

Hey man, I quit my job, moved to NC, left my boyfriend, and wallowed around for awhile.

Now I'm in love, working from home, looking out over the mountains.

Moral of the story: taking the plunge is good, and women are evil (except me, I am just mildly creepy).

Of all people my X-wife offered me a place to stay and I really dont want to do that but it looks like I have no choice....My mother is dead and I dont speak to my father...My x assured me it would be a platonic relationship and that is the only way I would stay with her...She is not my type anymore...But my kids are with her so it would allow me to spend more time with them...But god I hate the thought of moving in with her...but I really have no other options now so I will do what I have to do I guess and hopefully soon I will get myself out of this mess...

LOL...three girlfriends...sounds like my brother...I could never do this..I was always too damn commited and afraid if I did cheat I would run into the other one at the wrong time out in public
 Anyway thanx for the smile....

Yup, the poop hammer does hit every now and then. All ya can do is hunker down until it quits. I agree with TJ. Not always, but -- at least in my experience -- mostly what you get on the other side of hammerfall is better than what you had prior to it. Maybe because we learn what not to do next time around . . . then again, maybe I'm just a huge blockhead :D

Heh...I kinda like the way you did that...And yes I guess I am a geek...Is that bad? Good?...I dont know...things are crazy right now and will only get worse before they get better...

Being a geek is good. (What else would you expect to hear around here? :D)

Things may get worse for a while, but they WILL get better. I assume you're scouring the town for a job. Biggest danger is to get disillusioned with the job search and slack off. Keep at it.

Girlfriends come and go, and usually hurt when they go, but bills go on forever. Job has to come first, then you can sort out the rest of your life. As you noted, seeing your kids is a good thing. Generous offer, even if a bit uncomfortable. Sure beats sleeping in your car, and it's hard to give your car as an address on job applications.

it is good that you can spend more time with your kids but living with your X. ouch that might be rough.

Just got a call for a job interview tomarrow...Was interviewed on the phone now I have to go in and talk to the big man tomarrow and make an impression..It will be hard work but surely cant be as bad as my other job. Hopefully anyway...I believe it is running phone line and repairing or something...So I may have to climb poles up to ten feet but heights do not bother me so thats not a problem...Tight spaces can bug me a bit but I can deal with it...Anyway I needs the job in the worst way right now so hopefully this works out...I should also hear from another company today from a job interview I did last week. I just know when I do get a job I will get offers from 3 other places at the same time and thats a bitch. It happened to me last time and I had to make some very difficult decisions. Anyway peeps I have all kinds of leads out there and know it is just a matter of time. But the fact is even if i started tomarrow I am too far behind on rent and bills to be able to pay them in time so it looks like it will be to the ex-wifes for sure in 2 weeks maybe less if I lose my utilities...

dont worry. all will be well. IMHO there is nothing worse than doing a job you hate. even unemployment! i have been very fortunate in my life in so far as every time i have had the courage to walk away from a situation i was unhappy with, i walked into something better. GT is right, it is always more sensible to cover your ass first, but sometimes that is just not possible. in my case recklessness has always been rewarded! this maybe because i dont veiw it as recklessness, but blind faith. good luck. god be with you. aloha

Strongly agree, MD. Been there and found that just talking to your creditors -- instead of dodging them -- nets you a whole lot of cooperation.

Ok...So I just went to that interview I was talking about today. Did thy drug test and I am waiting on background check. Both I should pass no problems...But the background check just happens to have to come from Florida (doh) so it will take till next week before they get the results. Damn do I need this job...BTW...I see no chance in amending things with thy woman...I just have to start over once I get my finances in better shape...

Hope it all works out for you, been there got the T-shirt and all that.Life sucks when your in the boat going downstream, the only way is UP in my book. Had the same situation once but got going on a new job,and met my partner in crime soon after. The only advice i can give is when you feel you hit rock bottom the start back up isn`t so bad.Takes time but you WILL get there.Keep on plugging mate. Your not alone, just need some self belief and determination and you will come out smiling. ;) Live life dont let life live you.
