ok seriously this is making me mad

my internet is slow, slower than usual but Netgear says Im at 54mbps but my internet is acting like Dial-up on ANY BROWSER I use, I got the Newest AVG and it says theres no viruses on my PC and I've cleaned the Temp files and everything and its drivin me nuts.It started this after Updating Windows cause then Windows made it to where AVG 8.5 made it impossible to Surf the net and then it worked fine until some reason it started running slow, I mean literally I'm gettin a little pissed at Microsoft for all this inconvenience from updating Windows XP.Can you guys please help me restore my internet?

 

ok so I removed my Ramm earlier today to see what kind it was and put it back in and now the browsers are running a bit faster ??? its weird, idk what it is but I suppose more ramm might be needed(btw I have 1GB of Ramm)

 

also, removed AVG v9, yeah that cleared it up a bit still takes a wee bit longer to load the pages but nonetheless they load

 

have you tried a scan with spyware remover? just to see if anything is piggybacked to your browsers

 

that I have not and is spyware remover free?

 

Most here suggest SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes.
Would be happy with 56MBs myself. On 6MBs cable.

 

dude, I owe you big time.
that Malwarebytes found 72 worms,trojans,bugs,etc,etc on my PC after I removed them my internet zipped up big time but myspazz still loads slow(guessing due to bad coding?idk) but most everything loads great now! I will post an update after surfing a bit more man

Not a scanner like SAS, but works as a "doorman" to block bad things before they get installed.
