Running XPsp2 using IE7 and MSN Explorer. The Navigator browser program software was not loaded with the Dell in 2004, but I do find several registry entries in the HKEY_USERS section of Windows registry, some of them with lengthy audio/video values listings and references to WMP. Nonetheless, can these Netscape entries be safely deleted? Anyone know why Netscape is in the registry?

You're right, and I've since uninstalled all things AOL from the pc. I use CCleaner but it's never disclosed the lingering Netscape registry entries. Still want to delete these entries manually if safe to do so. I welcome anymore responses.

Thanks for all the posts. I'm going ahead with the deletions, but have used the single key backup method for the keys deleted.
